Hi guys, my girlfriend is a big fan of the Penguin clothbound classics so I’m going to buy her one for Christmas. I’m struggling to decide which one to buy though and was wondering if you could recommend a few.
She enjoys romance books for example I know she’s read Colleen Hoover, Dolly Alderton and the After series recently and enjoyed them. She’s read a lot of Jane Austen’s books so preferably none of hers.
The one I’m thinking of at the minute is Anna Karenina, not sure why but ive heard a few YouTubers rating it highly and it seems interesting to me however I’ve also heard it’s not for everyone and can be confusing and a hard read.
Could you maybe give a top 3 classic books you’d recommend for a 24 year old girl who enjoys romance? Thanks
