I’m looking for book recommendations for something autumn-feeling (feel free to interpret that however you wish.)
Here are the extra tricky requirements:
I want it to be an audiobook with a male British reader and I don’t want it to contain typical/common anxiety-inducing “triggers.” So in other words, it can’t be suspenseful or involve abuse or murder, etc. And, no sexual content.
Help me find this unicorn?
Thanks!

Piranesi, by Susanna Clarke
It’s fantasy with some slight darkness and spooky mystery that makes it feel appropriate for Autumn. A little light suspense but I didn’t find it upsetting or triggering at all.
It’s slow paced and gorgeous prose are really great. The narration on audible might be just what you’re looking for!
The James Herriot books narrated by Christopher Timothy may be to your liking.
