Hi! This is my first Reddit post, so please be kind.

I have just graduated from college, and had a reading intensive major. For the last 4 years, I’ve been reading nothing but academic books, sometimes 30+ a semester, so I’m a little out of the loop in terms of what books are trending and whatnot. When I was younger (16-17) I used to love reading Y/A fantasy books. Now that I’m an adult, I find that Y/A books are a little silly at times and even kind of boring. I want to mention that I’m trying to avoid books that have ✨spicy✨ scenes in them. I like the romantic relationships that are built in Y/A books. I felt that they were satisfying even if they didn’t include the deed. Anyways, I don’t want to have to keep reading books meant for tweens.
Some books that I enjoyed when I was a teen:

    Night Circus: Erin Morgenstern
    Carry On: Rainbow Rowell
    Gail Carriger books?

Anyways, it’s been a while since I’ve picked up a book for pleasure, so anything would be nice! Witches! Fairies! Knights! Let me know. Thanks!!!
