first off, i did like it. i really liked the story but i think the ending was a little lackluster.
i guess ill just go character by character
libby- i didn’t like her at first but i ended up loving her. it felt like she didn’t really have an ending if im being honest, but maybe that’s the point? also the thing with aunt diane confused me a little.
ben – i was eh with him the whole story because i feel like he’s definitely a creep. the end made me hate him because of how >!he just stood back and let diondra kill his sister and chop up his mom and sisters bodies even more, like i get it’s part of his character but he never seemed like the type of character who disliked his family enough to let it happen!< . sure he had some fucked up things going on but he still cared for them a bit. i just hate how he was so willing to leave them like that, especially when he didn’t even like diondra that much. his whole ‘i gotta protect this family’ is so dumb because if you wanted to protect your family, why not protect the only living sister you have? i also would like to know how he was caught, because i don’t remember reading it.
diondra – she’s a bitch i don’t like her. >!the scene at her house in present day was bit weird and idk how they found her. also were she and ben still in contact? like i get they had a kid (honestly j would’ve preferred it was actually treys kid and they were sticking it on ben, it would’ve made a bigger impact on me idk) but it’s weird. also brought to get a tattoo of her name, like getting the name of your sisters killer tattoos is insane!<
>!the end felt rushed. i feel like there could’ve been a different way for patty to die. the way she died isn’t unheard of but if it came out she paid for it, wouldn’t the life insurance money have been taken? i can imagine patty walking in on the murder of michelle and diondra (or even ben or trey) killing patty and debby to keep it all quiet. i kinda wish we got more definite endings, especially since ben most likely would’ve been charged with accessory to murder!< i also wish we knew what happened to kyle, he was my favorite.
i also don’t understand the lisette stephen’s storyline. that’s all
