I found out I will likely be promoted to a management role in the coming year. I’m confident about the technical aspects of the job and have been working toward this for a while, but this will be my first time managing a team. I’m anticipating apprehensions as we currently have the same title and some have more industry experience than I do. I’m looking for a book (and advice!) on effectively moving into a manager role and gaining the trust of my Team. So far I’ve read The “First 90 Days” and “Emotional Intelligence”. I liked the former because I found it to be more actionable. Thanks!!
