I’ve only read some of his poems and I loved them. I don’t know if I should start with his autobiography “Ham on Rye” or “Burning in water drowning in flame”. any suggestions?
Read his poems or nothing at all imo. He is a gross dude. In many of his novels the main character graphically rapes people for no good reason and it is not looked at critically at all.
