My partner isn’t much of a reader but we’ve agreed to buy eachother something to read for Christmas. We have a 3 month old baby so I think something to help with that would be a good idea. TIA!
The Baby Manual follows the same format, with clear, straight forward step-by-step instructions and how-to guides on keeping your baby content and running smoothly.
It’s good fun. And treating a baby like a car is a light-hearted way to approach the subject. But the advice is serious, practical and set out in a way that’s accessible and easy to parse.

Is your partner in to cars and how things work and stuff? If so, you could try and get a copy of the Haynes Baby Manual:

Haynes makes car manuals. For instance:

EDIT
I see there’s now also this one:
Haynes Explains Babies: Production and delivery – Oil changes – Identifying leaks – Emission control (Owners’ Workshop Manual)

It’s a bit more up to date. I’m not sure how much babies have changed in the intervening time. But there it is.
