Book recommendations for books about queer characters written by queer authors?

I’m having a hard time finding any books about gay male characters written by/for queer men or books about trans characters written by/for trans authors. It’s honestly kind of exhausting trying to find books like these when most books with queer characters are written by and for cishet people (that I have seen). Any suggestions/recommendations?

If anyone knows anything that falls into the above categories that are also Historical Fiction I’d be head over heels!!!
