Hi all, I am going to be sitting on a beach or by a pool for a week or so, and am looking for a fun, light hearted reading experience.
Fantasy/scifi is my go to, medeival fantasy specifically is my favorite. Getting a little burnt out on high fantasy. Really loved Name of the Wind, Robin Hobbs books, ASOIAF. But all of those books are kind of heavy. I was considering reading The Winter King, and while I think I’d enjoy it’s probably a little too dark and gritty for what I’m looking for.
I’ve enjoyed Chuck Palahniuk books on past vacations… I guess I’m casting a pretty wide net here, it dosent -have- to be fantasy. In summation an entertaining, fun ride of a book. I don’t want to use my brain and I don’t want to get bummed out. Thanks!
