I’m going on a trip to meet a friend and she likes romance books (WlM)
She likes stories where the man is at least in his 40’s silver fox age (and isn’t cleanshaven).
She said “open door or closed door is fine” but Idk what that means
Can someone suggest me books for her?

I think some of T Kingfisher’s novels like “Swordheart” and the Saint of Steel books would fit that well.
I think the door thing is a reference to whether sexy scenes are fade to black or explicit, but I’m more of an SFF then romance person and I’m not entirely sure
Open door = explicit sexClosed door = non explicit or fade to black
* *Lock & Key* by Cat Porter – bike club romance
* *By A Thready* by Lucy Score – contemporary romance
I’d suggest going over to r/RomanceBooks for more recs in this genre.
Danielle Steel paperbacks. Fun quick reads. Easy to pack.
