Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris. Psychological thriller about dark secrets in a seemingly perfect marriage.

The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda. Suspense set in a coastal town revolving a friendship between two women and a mysterious death.

    2. None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell was one of my favorite suspense novels this year. The other one was Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent. Also enjoyed Night Will Find You by Julia Heaberlin, The Quiet Tenant by Clemence Michallon, Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll, and authors Shari LaPena, Karin Slaughter, and Laura Lippman.

    3. Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’ is a must-read for anyone who loves a locked-room mystery. Ten strangers on an isolated island picked off one by one makes for an irresistible puzzle that has set the standard for the genre.
