I’ve recently started getting into the Western fiction I’ve already read the Staples of the genre such as true grits the searches and shane and of course Lonesome ect, but I have noticed that most western literature seems to be single novels or short stories I’m looking for a book series that follows a single character or a party of characters as for tone I’m looking for something a bit more hard Edge similar to a spaghetti western although not as nihilistic as blood morridian.

ps I’ve already tried those by the piccadillac cowboys although I enjoyed what I read I will turned off by the facts that they are no longer inprint and I do not like the digital format

Try reading The sacketts books. I accidentally got one of them and it’s definitely my favorite.
*Lonesome Dove* is the first of a four book series, two of which are prequels.
