Hello! Please help me find the title of a book I once read. I remember the plot somewhat. The plot begins with the investigation of a killing that the police speculate was caused by a large animal but was actually a werewolf. The female main character is a computer geek detective (maybe – I can’t remember entirely) who has to team up with a werewolf alpha to help him catch the killer. She grew up in the werewolf community and uses a special tea to help hide her scent from werewolves. The alpha (main male character) and the female main character do not like each other and get off on the wrong foot. However, with time they start to get along. In the end the female main character is captured by the killer(s) and is held in a cell with a werewolf female. The male main character comes to find her and defeats the enemy. While rushing to find the female character, the male main character realizes that his wolf can scent their mate. He asks his second in command to get the female main character, thinking that the other werewolf held in the cell is his mate but he wants the female main character to be his mate instead. When she is finally in his arms he realizes that she is his mate and he did not realize it before because of the tea she would drink that hid her scent.
