I’m looking for something to suck me in and grip me until the very last page. I just read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, and once I got into the unique rhythm of it I absolutely devoured it, which is crazy to me because I just got back into reading this year for the first time in a whiiile. I nearly skipped class the week before finals just to keep reading. I’m searching for that feeling.
I want to be entranced. I want to feel captured.
I like pretty much every genre, just no Stephen King please (sorry I’m just not a fan).
Bonus points for an emotional rollercoaster.
Thank you!!

I’ve been speeding through the Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman. I found it brilliantly written and captivating!
Two weeks in and I am halfway through book four already.
It’s YA, but every time I read the His Dark Materials series, I have trouble stopping.
