    1. Based on books I read i think these work –

Nature and human impact – The hungry tide, The Overstory, It’s a long book but Barkskins is such a beautiful book and fits the bill.

Identity and Self discovery – The Namesake

Fear and Courage – Two Old Women

A Wizard of Earthsea, by Ursula K. LeGuin, addresses most of those themes in the arc of Ged, the protagonist.

A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge.
It literally fits all of the themes you’re describing. It’s written to be YA but some of the elements left me slightly disturbed. Without giving spoilers, the MC is found wandering underground and raised by a recluse who doesn’t let her Leave or tell her anything about her past. It’s set in a dystopian world with a monarchy, definitely hierarchy/classist themes, harsh punishments, courage, identity.
The rest, well, you’ll just have to read to find out, but it’s beautifully done and fits your themes. It’s a standalone, but very action packed, and I can guarantee a happy ending.
