I’m a big manwha/webtoon reader and recently started transitioning to books because I’ve run out of webtoon/manwha content.

I’ve binged two books this week and utterly disappointed with the writing and plot.
-The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
    -Twisted Love

Now I’m afraid to pick up another book, due to how much time I’ve wasted trying to read these in vain.

I’m wondering if there’s anything that comes close the depth/story/writing/character development of these masterpiece webtoons/knovels/manwha:

    -Trapped
A story of a cab driver that was just released from jail for stabbing her ex and a vampire and their mind games with each other after a fateful meeting at church. Also a story of loneliness in lacking trust and family, the many meanings of it.

What I liked: haemuri is a writer who knows how to piece tension together but also make it hot. I love that both characters don’t trust anyone besides themselves but end up having to rely on each other. I love the dysfunctional family dynamic. There’s a lot more to say, but I’ll leave it at that.

-The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway
A story of a woman in her third life after 2 tragic lives.

What I liked: it was a story about love and loss. Loving the wrong man and its eventual consequences. The romance is angsty and then it’s super wholesome. The ML is devoted to her across many lifetimes, even in the ones where the FL doesn’t know him and he doesn’t know her well.

    -Resetting Lady
A story of a woman who has become a psychopath murderer after reliving the same life 90+ times in a row and it ending up in her sudden death after marriage every time. 😳

What I liked: There’s a lot of twists and turns in the novel, you could never tell what’s next when reading this. Horror, romance, comedy, even a wholesome parts, it had it all.

Updated to include synopsis and what I liked.

    Thank you for your recommendations!!

    1. If you’re looking for a story about overcoming odds for love, I’d recommend ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen. It’s a timeless romance that tackles class, pride, and first impressions, showcasing Austen’s sharp wit and keen understanding of human relationships.

    2. Sarah J. Maas has a lot of good ones – personal favorite is house of earth and blood.

Fourth wing is big right now and fits your genre preferences.

      Gild by Raven Kennedy

Anne Bishop has a lot of good works as well, same with T. A. white – I’d check out “Rules of Redemption” first of theirs
