I love psychological type books im looking for ones about obsession specifically when a woman is obsessed with another woman.
Ive read all the books about a woman obsessed with a woman’s life and wanting to take her place so nothing like that im looking for books more similar to my brilliant friend by elena ferrante.

Such a quiet place by Megan Miranda, although the end is a little disappointing
It also doesn’t have as much world building as it sounds like brilliant friends does
Try *The Book of Goose* by Yiyun Li? It’s reminiscent of Ferrante in some ways, about two teenage girls growing up in post-WW2 France who are obsessed with each other. It’s literary, not at all a thriller.
Maybe check out *The Door* by Magda Szabó. It’s about the relationship between a female writer and her female housekeeper.
Carol by Patricia Highsmith, it is more of a lesbian romance but definitely features obsession.
