I have read the first two books and reading the third book currently. Am I the only one who wants to chuck this book out of the window yet can’t seem to stop reading it?
Avery is just one of the most insufferable person I know. The love triangle is pathetic. The legal incest makes me gag.
And these people are supposed to be teenagers?!Why are they talking like adults at 16 and 17? Okay maybe that issue is with me. I am not the target audience.
I have such a love hate relationship with this book. I just seem to hate it so much and yet cannot put it down and pick up something else.
P.S: If I hear the words “elegant shrug” one more time!!!!

I struggled with it too. I couldn’t get into it, couldn’t connect with any characters, the dialogue felt weird and out of place, I just couldn’t do it and dnf’d book two. And yet these books are super popular? Really? I chalked it up to not being the target demographic and moved on.
