Trope about building trust?

Possibly a little too specific request but….

I read [The Alpha’s Silent Mate] by Eve Bale the other day, because of a recommendation I saw on here.
It was what I expected (sugar sweet, etc). I have also read the first two books of [Bound to the fae] by Eva Chase.

Anyway, I was hoping for some more recs with the specific trope of the MC’s encountering each other in a situation similar to how The Alpha’s Silent Mate starts. I don’t need the identical storyline – just the mc’s meet and she’s scared, maybe on the run from people, and he has to work to gain her trust.

Maybe she’s injured and he has to gain her trust while treating her injuries. Maybe they met because she finds him, and has to look after him while being scared of him. Whatever.

I don’t mind if it’s m/m or rh, or whatever. Don’t mind which genre (contemporary, mafia, fantasy etc), just nothing too dark (Haunting Adeline is too dark, for reference).
