Dark/moody novel with pretty male lead

I’m looking for some recommendations!

I’d like something that’s dark, gritty, and moody. It can be supernatural, or non supernatural. But I’m looking for a book where the protagonist is a.. how do I word it? A pretty boy type that is dark/moody/lost. If that makes sense. I’d prefer a standalone book or a duology is fine too! I’m going for a 90s/00s vibe but anything is fine!
A good example of kind of what I’m looking for is Lost Souls by Poppy Brite.
