Suggest to me the best audio book you’ve ever listened to and why it’s the best…
One where not only the book itself was excellent, but the narrator was a perfect match. Any genre at all…I just love someone reading to me and always open to new suggestions.
The Knife of Never Letting Go, Ness. There is telepathy in the story, and I love the way they incorporated it in the audio version.

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. The story is incredible and the narrator lives up to it perfectly. The concept is that a spaceship’s AI has been ripped from the ship and placed into a single human body. Throughout the books, the author included songs and the narrator sings them. She has a beautiful voice but she’ll modulate it to fit whichever character is singing (so sometimes she’s not good haha) and even makes it sound like they’re drunk. It’s just a whole ‘nother level for an audiobook. I was already into the story and just picked up the audiobook bc it was available first but once she started singing I knew I was sticking with it. It’s a series, so you’ve got 3 books to get through!
