I’m in a reading slump. I love books with brilliant prose and plot but to get hooked I need two people who slowly become everything to each other, you know, you’re the other half of my soul if I lost you I would die, NOT the conventional, you’re my one in a million if I lost you it would take me a few years to find someone else, if you know what I mean. I know thar’s oddly specific.
The Hannibal to show is my favourite show of all time, which is perhaps closest to this precisely this dynamic, but it feels like I read all great Hannigram fanfiction that is like this instead of also making these two generic lovers.
Anyway I really enjoyed “These Violent Delights” by Micah Nemerever which is a fairly dark love story with a murderous plot. I prefer stories set in the real world, though I read any genres as long as I can fall in love with two characters having this dynamic, though I’m a sucker for dark stories, and I mean really dark, I can also enjoy sweet stories. I’m starved for stories and would be immensely thankful for any suggestion.
