One of my favorite books is With the Old Breed, by Eugene Sledge. It describes his time as a marine in the Pacific. I’d like to read some more great memoirs from various walks of life. Thanks peeps!
Check out Richard Bach. He’s flying Biplanes in most of his books and waxing poetic on spiritualism at the same time. I’d start with Illusions.

‘Long Walk to Freedom’ by Nelson Mandela is a powerful autobiography that I often recommend. Mandela’s journey from political prisoner to president embodies the struggle against apartheid in South Africa, making it an essential read for anyone interested in the fight for justice and equality.

If you enjoyed Sledge, check out ‘Helmet For My Pillow’ by Robert Leckie, or ‘Parachute Infantry’ by David Kenyon Webster.
