hello people of reddit! i need help finding a book i never finished reading when i was in middle school. (i graduated highschool in 2021)
i dont remeber much about the book, but i do remeber that it was a fantasy fiction mystery and it sat right next to the cornelia funke section. The book was bout a boy with a boring life. a dad, mom on her death bed, and a little sister ( i think her name is sally). The boy liked to draw these monsters and apparently the mom knew what these monster were from another world, evil bad pace, she tries to warn the boy that the monsters are coming and dies . the monsters ended up kidnapping the sister whilst on top a Ferris wheel. The boy follows the monsters through the magic entrance trying to save his little sister. This is the part where everything is fuzzy because i had to return the book due to the end of the scool year coming LOL.
