So I made a post about Twenty days ago talking about Jurassic Park. I just finished reading The Lost World and it left a weird taste in my mouth and I just fell the need to talk about it. I didn’t hate it but at the same time felt kinda disappointed by it.

First I wanna talk about what I did like. The reason how the dinosaurs were still alive after The bombing of Isla nublar was really well thought out and makes sense, Sara Harding is one of my favorite human characters in the novels along with Alan Grant and Robert Muldoon, and The Carnotaurus probably my favorite dinosaurs in the series.

Now let’s talk about what I didn’t like. Besides Sara Harding and maybe Dr. Thorn, The human characters in the novel were really, really boring to me. I never really liked the novel version of Malcom and him as the main protagonist didn’t make any sense to me, because In the jurassic Park novel he was heavily implied to be dead. And The Carnotaurus, dispite being my favorite dinosaur in the novel, don’t have a lot of scenes as I think they should have.

Long story short, I think the novel is fine. If you disagree with me, please explain why. And if your a fan of The Lost World, In the middle of reading Jurassic Park and going to read the Lost Word, or are in the middle of reading the Lost World, (I just realized that I kinda spoiled both the books a little, I should probably tag that) This is my opinion, so please take what I say with a grain of salt.

    1. I loved Jurassic Park but yeah Lost World was middling by comparison. However it was still a hundred times better than the Lost World movie.
