Its Christmas time soon, this year i can actually buy stuff without my family knowing about it so i wanna get them some gifts for christmas! Im getting books for two of my family members: my grandpa and aunt.
Some info about my aunt:
Shes around 40 i think (im an awful niece i know.) She has introduced me to alot of literature like 1984 and animal farm but i also think she liked 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. She also has suggested me to read Death at Intervals and a brave new world, i was thinking of getting her the 1984 retelling called Julia but im not sure, She didnt like “my year of rest and relaxation”
My grandpa is 80, he hasnt touched a book in awhile but when he did read he read alot of scifi, books about conspiracy theories and weird historical fiction, ima list some books he apparently liked:
Bleachers john grisham
The partner john grisham
Trading in death john grisham
The seven sisters anthony samspon
Michael Crichton disclosure
He also owns a few books by isaac asimov, prelude to foundation and asimovs guide to science 1&2. But i wanna stray off scifi cause its my main reading genre and don’t wanna make it seem as if im buying it to borrow later. I was thinking of getting him a copy of the three body problem cause i read it and i think he’d like it.
