So my (under 2 y/o) daughter loves reading… well, loves to make sounds while “reading” and loves when we read books with her.

She has been really enthused by “big girl books”. However, she doesn’t stay interested in them once she realizes there are no pictures. She also accidentally tears them as she doesn’t have the best motor skills yet. But she loves carrying them and pretending to be able to read them – which warms my heart.

Does anyone know of any thicker books, maybe in the form of a 100ish page fictional children’s book.. But, durable and full of pictures?

I want her to get familiar and comfortable with big books at an early age and to encourage reading bigger and more intimidating books and I kind of figured this could be a good way to go about it.

    Thank you!

    1. Complete sets of Winnie the Pooh or curious George. Also Harold and the purple crayon has no words and is a big book
