So first let me list some books he’s read and enjoyed: war and peace, wheel of time series, off of the rings series, a few f Scott Fitzgeralds, the Bible lol, all of my twilights, dune series (he was eh ab it), the eve of the world, murakami books, love in time of cholera, handfuls of classics, handfuls of philosophy. One of his fav books as a young boy was Hatchet.
I’m just looking at the book shelf and saw those and listed those. Well I should say he’s currently like 3/4 through reading the Bible cover to cover. Yet, he doesn’t like self help bc they share too many common themes etc. he’s studying medicine right now so he doesn’t really like reading non fiction for fun because that’s too much facts and boring, you know.
I’d appreciate some recommendations especially from men because he does like those manly adventure books. He likes things with a good story and interesting characters. Some good escape. It doesn’t have to be a whole crazy series it can even be something shorter. Just something to take his mind of things that he can enjoy. Maybe something a little less common like what I’ve listed above. Thank you.
