I don’t know if it is too specific. But I like to see a wholesome female character in a romantic story. The lead character has principles and a lust for life and falling in love with someone does not make her abandon her whole life and only become the guy’s girlfriend. I am not against fantasy if you think it fits but I would prefer good old normal fiction. Thanks!

If you enjoy a good enemies-to-lovers storyline, ‘The Hating Game’ by Sally Thorne is a book I recommend for its witty banter and electric chemistry between the characters. It’s a delightful and sexy rom-com that will keep you smiling long after you’ve turned the last page.
If you don’t mind it being a bit YA-ish, maybe Graceling by Kristin Cashore
I think you’d enjoy some of Jasmine Guillory’s books! Most fit the bill, might as well start with the first in her series — The Wedding Date
/r/romancebooks is a great sub with lots of recommendation threads. Often they get way more specific than your request.
