    Hi all,
I really love English/Celtic mythology, but most of the books I’ve read are geared towards younger readers. There’s nothing wrong with this I still enjoy them. I simply wish to be more challenged in my reading endeavors.
Does anyone have book recs that fit? Some books I enjoy:
    + The Prydain Chronicles
+ The Dark Is Rising series
+ “The Weirdstone of Brisingamen” and “The Moon of Gomrath”

Btw the recommendations don’t have to fit the specific type of mythology or plot line. I just want something that emulates that sense of magic/intrigue but a bit more complex than what I’ve read. Oh and I’m still very open to young readers books in the same vein you think I might enjoy. Thank you for your help in advance ✨

Many of Charles de Lint’s Newford novels are very much not childrens’ books, dealing with hard subjects. Wonderful stuff.

    2. Juliet Marillier writes fantasy with strong mythological roots (Sevenwaters series, Shadowfell, etc.)

    3. You might like Rhinegold and Attila’s Treasure by Stephan Grundy. They are based (especially Rhinegold) on Germanic mythology.
