I am a college student and have a free hour almost every day, what categories u think will be helpful as a mechanical engineer and what the best books will u recommend?
Also if u know good books about how to run money maybe, investing or cars industry.
Thanks.

Basically any book by Henry Petroski. I’m reading the Essential Engineer but one of my favourites is Invention by Design—lots of insights from his decades of engineering experience and little bits of humour sprinkled throughout. I’m also a previous mech eng graduate and find his books very interesting. Also books like the Martian by Andy Weir are great for a bit of fun but also scratch the scientific/engineering brain itch.
