I’m looking for a book with 1 MMC and 1 FMC who go on a dangerous adventure together where they rely on each other for support and to protect each other. An us-against-the-world type story.
It’s preferably NOT a primary romance but a good romance sub-plot between them is very welcome.
It’s also a MUST that the FMC has agency and competency. No damsel in distress please.
I’m happy for any genre if it meets the above brief.
