Hi, i enjoy the theory of isekai (i blame growing up with the 80s DnD cartoon) but i’ve struggled to find anything in this genre that is written in a classic novel structure, that is, that isn’t an eternally ongoing internet light novel etc. Looking for a proper beginning, middle and end and all that jazz. This comes a surprise to most people but Mark Twain wrote one of the first isekai novels with *A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.* Full on classic novel with many of the key points of isekai, lol.
