Hi! I’m looking for some new content to read as the temperature gets more indoorsy.
I really enjoy memoir/observational books about wildlife and nature; birds in particular are of high interest but I’ll roll with just about anything. It’s fine if the author intertwines the nature stuff amongst the human experience, or throws some science/educational details as well.
I’d love to find more recent literature to enjoy. I’ve hit the older classics and am leaning on more modern books that relate to our current environment and ecosystem.
I very much enjoyed *The Comfort of Crows* by Margaret Renkl, as well as *The Overstory* by Richard Powers.
I’ve read the bestsellers by Bryson and Krakauer so they’re already checked off the list. I’ve also already read *Wild* by Cheryl Strayed.
If anyone can suggest me something similar I’d be grateful!

I really enjoyed *In the Company of Crows and Ravens*
[Mind of the Raven](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/254704.Mind_of_the_Raven) is interesting.
Rare Birds by Elizabeth Gehrman
