What it says on the tin. Getting back into reading & so many queer book recs are either YA or feature characters in their early 20s. Looking for stories about older well-written queer characters who feel like real people.
Past queer works I’ve enjoyed include Giovanni’s Room, Angels in America and Autobiography of Red.
I have pretty eclectic taste but primarily am drawn to horror/thrillers, speculative fiction, and non-genre fiction. Big fan of dark themes, messy characters, and magical realism! Romance welcome but I’d prefer if it wasn’t the entire focus of the story.
