Hey! I’m trying to find books that an eight year old girl could like. She’s not very fond of reading, so I’m not limited to a specific genre. However, I think that a book with things like pictures and different fonts would help her to focus, and they would also help to make it more attractive for her. Furthermore, I think that a stand-alone would be better than a series (unless is something “independent” like the Tea Stilton books). Thank you!

My favorite book as a kid and I’ve gifted it to a lot of kids that are surprised it’s so wonderful.
Arm in Arm- Remy Charlip. All of his books are good.
She might also like Roald Dahl.
I can’t recall the exact title, but there’s a series of a little girls detective agency I’ve seen recommended a lot.
