So I’m a big fan of Virginia Woolf and the stream of consciousness writing process. I was wondering if any of you know any contemporary authors who might be using the same style or could be considered stream of consciousness? Thank you!

Mike McCormack’s Solar Bones won a couple of major awards. Not just stream of consciousness, the whole book is a single sentence!
Not exactly the same but I have found Katie Kitamura’s novels ([A Separation](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30407998) and [Intimacies](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/55918474)) to be of similar style and is easier to read.
It’s a little awkward recommending a book that I read about 4 pages of and had to put down. However – I’m not calling it a DNF – it’s on my “try again another time” shelf 😉 It is 100% stream-of-consciousness maybe even too much for you. Definitely worth looking into though!

You could always fast-forward to the last chapter of Ulysses. 🙂
