I have an exam coming up in March, and I have 3 months leave to prepare for that, before jumping into studies, I really want to read one last book.
The kind of book i want to read:
One that I can read in about a day.
I like Thrillers/Horror/Adventure Books.
Basically a book that will keep me glued to my kindle for this one time.

– **World War Z: The Definitive Edition** by Max Brooks is one of my “stranded on a desert island” books. Written as a non-fiction oral history, each chapter is a different person from all around the world who describes their experience before, during, or after the zombie apocalypse nearly wiped out humanity. Not a comedy by any means, but also doesn’t take itself too seriously and the world-building is really impressive. NOTE: the Definitive Edition has significantly more chapters so make sure you get that version.
– **Fantasticland** by Mike Bockoven. Also written as a non-fiction where each chapter is a different person. The author purports to be a journalist who interviewed every surviving witness from a mysterious brutal massacre at a creepy retro amusement park. Pretty graphic and dark. Think *Lord of the Flies* but way more intense.
– Anything by Blake Crouch is a fast-paced thriller based on emergent technology and/or concepts (like the CRISPR gene editor or quantum physics). **Recursion** **Dark Matter** and **Upgrade** are all good, but my fav is the **Wayward Pines** trilogy. You could get through one book in a day, but all three might take a long weekend.
The Missing by Kiersten Modglin
{{A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck}}
It’s only about 150 pages; I read it twice in one day.
