Hello! I am looking for a suggestion for a really good thriller or MILD horror book. (Nothing too gory). Psychological thrillers with great twists much appreciated.
I also love isolated or vacation gone wrong type atmospheres where the character is out of their element.

Absolutely read The Haunting of Hill House. Terrifying and not too gory. Right up your alley.

No Exit by Taylor Adams is a good quick paced binge-read about a girl stranded in a snowed-in highway rest stop with strangers
Headful of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay is horror, but not too gory. It’s more psychological horror. Very twisty and confusing with an unreliable narrator. One of my faves.
