Hi! I’m one of those people who are academic overachievers and I would like to read a book (any genre) with characters who are academics, researchers, university students, and that are overall… struggling with this lifestyle.

Babel by RF Kuang. It can be a little bit dense and overly-explained, but it’s about students at Oxford in fantasy Victorian times following an incredibly punishing course of study, and goes from there. I felt like it really captured the camaraderie of suffering with your friends in tough college classes.
