Can you recommend a light, fun book for the holidays that isn’t super romancey?
A little romance is fine as a sub plot, but I want something else to take the spotlight. As long as the book is light and takes place during the holidays!
The Stupidest Angel is a comedy that takes place on the holidays

We were liars by E. Lockhart might sound interesting to you

“Mandy” by Julie Andrews Edwards might fit this. It ends during Christmas.

Visions of sugarplums by Janet evanovitch, it’s a short Stephanie Plum standalone set at Christmas time.

‘Call Me By Your Name’ by André Aciman is a book I find myself recommending for its beautiful prose and exploration of desire. The summer romance between Elio and Oliver in Italy is a profound meditation on the intensity of first love and the marks it leaves on our lives.
