Hello everyone! I am looking for a book to annotate and gift my girlfriend for christmas, but I’m unsure of where to start. We are both pretty big readers and we have some decent overlap in terms of taste, but I want to avoid giving her something just because I enjoyed it. As mentioned above she enjoyed Call Me By Your Name, The Secret History, and Song of Achilles. I was considering the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but I‘m pretty sure she’s already read it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

•The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker. Told from the viewpoint of the women of Troy during the Trojan War. Check cws.
•Siren Queen by Nghi Vo. Has similar elements to Evelyn Hugo, but is a very atmospheric speculative novel. Check cws.
•The Late Americans by Brandon Taylor. Multi pov, coming of age, crossroads etc.
