There was a book series that I read back in 2006-2008, it was a series about zombies and vampires. Specifically, it was about a military group who was fighting Dracula and other mythical beasts. The main characters were, if I’m not mistaken, a vampire student, I believe was the son of Dracula, a zombie boy, and a female character. I could be mixed up.
There was also another book with zombies and vampires, but as students, learning and doing stuff as well as fighting students and other things.
*edit* – I believe one of the books had “Area” in the title.
