Basically the title. I love fantasy books but I’m not a fan of gritty grimdark political stuff, but they’re the only fantasy books recommended to me.

I’d like to read something wholesome finally, and I’m totally cool with any type of fantasy book rec as long as they fit the post title’s question and are well-written. Preferably magical adventure vibes, I love those stuff.

The 2 Necromancers series by L. G. Estrella. 2 Necromancers try to earn a pardon for past crimes by doing odd jobs for a kingdom. Strong found family vive through the whole thing. Cute wholesome dad/daughter relationship between Timmy and Katie. The first book in the series is 2 Necromancers, A Bureaucrate, and an Elf.

Definitely The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches! Not high fantasy but magical and checks the found family and girlhood boxes
