There’s this girl that I like. And her b’day is soon and I wanted to gift her a book. Idk if you guys take such requests, if you guys don’t then I’m sorry for such post. She likes romance and she’s read books similar to “faults in our stars”.

The Fault in Our Stars is often grouped with a wider category of Young Adult (YA) “death lit” that became strangely popular a few years ago. Other popular titles in that category were:
* Thirteen Reasons Why
* Before I fall
* If I stay
* The Perks of Being a Wallflower
* Everything, Everything
If she likes the author, John Green, then she might like Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns, or Will Grayson, Will Grayson.
Adam Silvera also does some interesting books like They Both Die at the End.
Of course, YA may not be what you are interested in, so a bit more info might help narrow it down.
