I used to like reading a lot, still do. But not getting enough time. So I thought utilising my walk time with some audiobooks.
I tried audiobooks before, but somehow I can’t get hooked. Always afraid to miss some good parts while zoning out.
Can you please suggest me some light and good reads to get into audiobooks. I have audible subscription.

Project Hail Mary
Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore
To be fair most of the Christopher Moore audio books are really fun. The Stupidest Angel is another of my favorites.
Daisy Jones and the Six – each character is read by a different person and it’s delightfully
I think the first one that really hooked me was World War Z. Great way to frame a previously trodden story idea, really engaging writing, but the sound production on the audiobook is also excellent. It’s a full cast of Hollywood actors with background effects. It’s really good.
I also highly recommend literally anything by David Sedaris. His stories are poignant, moving, funny, engaging. No author has ever made me laugh or cry more than David Sedaris. And he reads all his books for the audio versions and is excellent at it.
The Assassination of Brangwain Spurge by M.T. Anderson
Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate
If you like biographies and autobiographies, I’d recommend Shoe Dog about Phil Knight (Nike).
I suggest Mark of the Fool by J.M Clark. Its a progressive fantasy story
I enjoyed the Finlay Donovan series as audiobooks. The story is engaging, and the narrator has done a good job in voicing the different characters.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I’ll check them out.
