I plan on doing a heroic dose 5.0+ grams after a moderate 3.5g dose proved mild to moderately illuminating.

The genre is immaterial but scifi/philosophical is a gigantic bonus and will get the highest priority. It can even be an autobiography. In fact…it might make the journey a lot more trippy as if I’m going through the person’s experience myself.

*The title is half clickbait as I also am genuinely looking for something that is uplifting or made me smile but is not pollyannaish/sappy/pandering since what I read tends to be bleak.

    TIA!

{{The City of Dreaming Books}} I think this is the weirdest book I’ve ever read, but I love it so much. There’s even some drawings in it, which makes it even more interesting.

I have no experience with hallucinogens but you should like A. Lee Martinez (any book before the Constance Verity trilogy) would fit. It’s funny and weird, often parodies tropes very well.

    3. I like to listen to the audiobook of A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers when I’m coming down

    4. If you enjoy your comedy with a side of crime-solving, ‘The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency’ by Alexander McCall Smith is a charming and witty series that follows Precious Ramotswe as she navigates mysteries and life’s little dramas in Botswana.
