Hi!
I’m thinking of gifting my 11-year old sister a book for Christmas, but I only really grew up with Percy Jackson and Harry Potter and immediately proceeded to YA and contemporary, so I’m clueless about what to give her.
Would like some suggestions on good middle-grade books, preferably recent ones so she can grow up on new media. She also has quite the short attention span so anything that might be more fast-paced in narrative would be better, I want to help her start loving books. Any recommendation would help, thank you!
