Hi there,
I’m looking for an Arthurian retelling series in which the female characters are the main focus, similar to Mists of Avalon, which I’m currently listening to on audiobook but getting near the end of. I’m aware Marion Zimmer Bradley is awful and that’s why I want to move on with something else that scratches this same itch. It needs to focus primarily on the women of the story, and have an ensemble cast instead of just focusing on one (Morgan or Guinevere, etc) Bonus points if it features pagan characters that aren’t painted as all evil and dangerous.
Thank you!

Maybe *Gwen and Art Are Not in Love* by Lex Croucher? Disclaimer: I haven’t read it but I recently stumbled upon it and thought it looked fun.
