My boyfriend has an english degree and is constantly reading and I want to read and annotate a book for him for Christmas. Something cute and romantic that isn’t super long either as I work a lot and am not much of a reader as he is- but something still enjoyable for him and his level of reading if that makes sense? Can you clarify your intention? Will the annotations to be about him, your feelings for him, your relationship, etc? Or your notes about the book itself, independent of its connection to your relationship?
This strikes me as a type of gift to give if you have already come across the perfect book that strikes you and has deep meaning to you or to both of you. As opposed to secondarily searching for a book that’s an OK fit.
